Remove an intimate image of you

Polish Index does not allow intimate images of a person to be shared without that person's consent. This includes real photos and images that were digitally created or altered to look like someone (sometimes called deepfakes). If an intimate image of you has been shared on Polish Index without your consent, you can ask us to remove it, and we will.

You can make a request if you are the person shown in the image, or if you are a parent, guardian, or someone else authorized to act on their behalf.

How to send your request

Send your request to legal@polishindex.app. You can use the button below to open an email with the details we need already laid out for you, or you can write to us directly at that address.

What to include

So we can act quickly, please include:

  1. Your name and a way for us to reach you. An email address is fine.
  2. Whether you are the person shown in the image, or someone authorized to act for them.
  3. Where the image is on Polish Index. A link, a screenshot, a profile or page name, or a short description all work. Anything that helps us find it.
  4. A short statement, made in good faith, that the image is of you and was shared without your consent. If the image is a digitally created or altered fake of you, tell us that too.
  5. Your name typed at the end of your message. That counts as your signature.

You do not need to send us identification or any legal paperwork. We keep this simple on purpose.

Our commitment

When we receive a valid request, we will remove the reported image from public view within 48 hours. In that same window, we will make reasonable efforts to find and remove any identical copies of the image on Polish Index. We will let you know once it is done.

If the person may be under 18

If the image may show someone under 18, please still contact us at legal@polishindex.app right away. We treat these reports with the highest priority and handle them under the extra protections the law requires for minors.
